Elaine, it was just a pinch. Not bad at all. It is a bit sore now, and sleep was a little bit challenging last night--it hurt a little bit on my side--but I am sure that will subside in a few days. Regardless, it was worth it! And, yes, I think the tattoo will be next!

I've thought of getting a second piercing in my lobe. Nothing as exciting as your star. However, I did get braces recently - something I've wanted since forever.
Carol, my lobes are already double pierced. I just wasn't wearing a second earring that day. Good for you for getting braces! Now you will have a movie star smile when you do your book signings!
