How To Stimulate the Creative Process

Which of these tips do you find most essential for stimulating YOUR creative process?

Good advice. I don't exercise enough, but I'm getting better. Don't always sleep enough (like today), but we've had that discussion, haven't we?

However, I did write an awesome scene that solves a problem this morning and I wrote eight new pages yesterday. Too bad I have to kill one of the characters off in the third book. *sigh* Take care!

Julee, it's hard to do it all. I keep a checklist of everything I aspire to do every day. Now, I don't do EVERY thing EVERY day, but I try not to skip anything two days in a row, and the checklist helps me keep track of that. Does that make sense? Good job with the writing. I am hoping to finish my chapter of the PFHT novel today. I need to get back to my WIP!

I definitely do all of those, except put myself in a frightening situation.

No, thank-you!

My biggest tricks are daydreaming (which is almost constant), sleep and exercise.

I adore daydreaming most of all, though sleep is a very close second!

Well, S.M., I don't put myself in INTENSELY frightening situations. Sometimes just walking into a roomful of people I don't know is frightening enough. I'm really not much of a daredevil. Although I WOULD like to go skydiving - just once.
